Here is some background information about me, for you to get to know me better:
After obtaining my Baccalauréat (A-levels equivalent) in Literature & Modern Languages, I carried on with my passion for languages, studying English and Russian at the Université de Caen (France).
I then decided to combine my thirst for knowledge with my strong desire to travel and headed up to the United Kingdom where I obtained the Certificate of Advanced English from the University of Cambridge.
Back to France, I obtained a diploma in English Studies from the Université Paris XIII, before returning to the United Kingdom to specialize in translation at Middlesex University in London.
After a year as a freelance translator in Paris, I left Europe to quench my thirst for discovering the world and meeting new professional challenges and landed in the Dominican Republic as the French Team in-house translation Manager for iLanguage.
I then started working again as an English to French freelance translator in 2002, providing translation and proofreading services.
I am currently based in Barcelona (Spain), where I run my own business as an English to French translation service provider.
